Loved opening the gate from Rome outside into a green and calm space to relax and recharge. Architecture is in a style that I adore so added bonus and rooms reflect the style and build. The breakfasts offered a good choice - eggs/ bacon, pastries, yogurts, cheeses etc. great coffee Lovely bar and lounge area. The pool was brilliant, cool , clean and much needed given the heat. pool towels provided. Enough loungers for all but do put on your mozzie spray. Room was clean, air con worked well though struggled understandably on the day it hit 39. Tea/coffee facilities good . Large comfy bed and easy to work tv. Reception will provide more hangers if asked. Decent hairdryer. Reception staff prompt, efficient and helpful - book taxis, recommend restaurants etc Location was good - 5 or so good restaurants within 15mins. Further few in 20 mins. Can walk across bridge to Travastine area in 25mins. Right on circus maximus and 15min walk to coliseum. Supermarket / pharmacy within 10 min walk. 35 mins from airport/station by taxi. Throughly recommend.

The pictures don't do Fauno justice. It's setting is that of a peaceful oasis in the midst of busy Rome. Everything was excellent. The staff, the breakfast, the prosecco round the pool, the pool itself so appreciated on a hot afternoon. We stayed in Room 11 which I think was the best. Direct access to the ground level, so much space, a bath for weary legs and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The bonus is the private outdoor area with table chairs and sun loungers. Also Raph on reception is full of good information including local restaurants. He was lovely to talk to. Thanks also to the attentive staff at breakfast, on reception and managing the bar. We walked to Circus Massemo (2 mins), The Palentine (5 mins), Collaseum (8 mins), Trevi Fountain (30 mins), Jewish Quarter (20 mins). The hop on hop off bus is a 5 min walk.

The location of the hotel is amazing, 1min to bus stops and subway, 10min walk to Colloseo. The area is very calm and safe. The garden is beautiful and it’s very green. There is a swimming pool, so in the summer it would be great to chill in it. Breakfast is okay, the choice is good but quality is 50/50, especially cafe latte ( no way to get it right). Rooms are stylishly made, shower is old already and when you wash too long, the water goes into the main room. Also you can’t close the room from inside ( kinda strange), there is simply no lock and you just trust the system. Overall, it’s clean, nice location, fine breakfast. For several nights it’s perfect to stay.

I loved the location, the staff and the swimming pool! The hotel is a quiet, secluded haven, just one street away from the Metro, the Circus Maximus and 10 minute walk to the Colosseum. Every member of staff was polite, cheerful and helpful. The pool was lovely, particularly after a hot day sightseeing. The buffet breakfast was fresh and tasty, with enough choice for all palettes. The room was clean and comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the pool. The aircon wasn't as strong as I'd have liked, but was still a comfortable temperature.

Location was great, it was really private and the popular places not far away. Has a menu were you can order a lunch or a dinner at the reception. Breakfast was okay, different Italian cakes and croissants as well as vegetables, eggs, yogurts, cereals. Staff was really welcoming, always asked if you need something more and made you feel comfortable. Room was cleaned between our two days of stay. They had all the things you need - shower gel, shampoo, conditioneer, even body scrub and intimate wash, body cream.
